ME
Passionate About Inspiring Others
I am a well-balanced, confident, enthusiastic English teacher, who is willing to go the extra mile for my students.
Born and educated in South Africa, mother-tongue English, I came to Switzerland at the age of 20 and have worked in the IT branch for many years; including a few years in Australia and South Africa.
In 2015, I got tired of my job in the IT industry and did my English teaching diplomas, which was the best step for me – away from many impersonal hours on the computer and back to real communication with human beings.
My (long) career in IT has allowed me to get in touch with many business areas but I feel a definite need to have more personal contact and invest time in my passion – teaching!
I love meeting new people, understanding their needs and having the chance to help them achieve their goals.
I have varied interests and hobbies, including sport (tennis, hiking, dancing), travelling, reading and, of course, spending as much time as possible with my wonderful family and grandchildren.
